New job. New leatherman. New nail varnish. .(scribbled at 20:32 )
Not much has happened since the last post. I did get hit by a car on Tuesday, resulting me spending a night in the Royal London Hospital's accident and emergency department.
Not pretty. Actually in so much shock that I survived, but I noticed that they have some pretty swanky Eames chairs in A&E, so perhaps they might make it into the October post about what chair I'd love to buy next...
Moving swiftly on from bouncing off a car bonnet, I started a new job today. EEP. And it's on the complete opposite side of London that I worked in previously, so my commute is having to be drastically rejiggled. And it took me
forever to decide what to wear this morning. I'm working in the technical services department, which would usually translate into a lifetime of donning boyfriend fit jeans and sturdy boots, but as it was my first day, I tested the waters a little with a burgundy Laura Ashley blouse, and emerald green nail varnish. Needless to say, as of tomorrow I am
definitely making use of a new marl hoodie I bought at the weekend, along with this gift:
I KNOW RIGHT, IT'S AMAZING. With 35 different uses, ranging from wire cutters to a bottle opener (the latter of which may be used more frequently), I have actually became a tiny bit obsessed with my first Leatherman. It was a leaving gift off my old work department, they're bloody amazing!
