WHEREABOUTS: PART ONE .(scribbled at 22:23 )

Badger at the Bluecoat: Currently How I'm feeling right now.
Dearest folk, I AM SO BLOODY SORRY for not updating in what appears to have been… 2 months? Having reached July now, it dawned on me a few nights ago that I’ve lost all blog etiquette with updating etc. So right now, on this dreary afternoon in north London I’m just going to haphazardly ramble on my laptop (briefly) about my whereabouts since May.

1. Dreary afternoon in North London you say?! Yes folks, I moved to Finsbury Park just over a month ago, and I must say it is brilliant. I’ve noticed occasionally when I’ve walked back through there from work that the usual basketball players are topless. OH WOW.

2. My workload increased tenfold, meaning I didn’t have time to socialise with friends back home, let alone blog.

3. Shortly after my last blog entry I went to Liverpool for a weekend to celebrate the birthday of one of my oldest friends. Afraid all the photos from the night out are a wee bit…well, let’s just say we started the night at the £1 Tequila Bar…

4. But during my time in Liverpool, I saw the opening day of The Bluecoat’s Galápagos exhibition. It is BRILLIANT. One of the best exhibitions I’ve seen this year fo’ sure! I must admit, I have been biased towards Marcus Coates’ work since I met him a few years ago but really- his work for this group exhibition is fantastic. Jeremy Deller’s in it too, and as he’s representing Blighty in next year’s Venice Biennale this is ever the more reason to go!

Hahha, and this is what I woke up opposite to the following morning. Only in Liverpool would you spot a Georgian terrace swamped with a set of window blinds:

5.  Also, my mother visited me for a weekend which was rather cool! In my whole time of living in London, I have finally dined in Sloane Square! And actually bought something from the Harrods beauty counters!
Addicted to Paul Patisserie!

Celebrating the Jubilee at Harrods? Why not.

More to follow v. shortly…
